If your New Year’s Resolution is to pamper and celebrate YOU more in 2024, then come join the monthly box fun with us. Each month you’ll receive a specially curated box of some of my favorite things themed around home, DIY, holiday and pamper! Check out the Favorite Things Boxes and grab your box spot here.

Here’s what’s inside the January Favorite Things Box:

#1 - The star of this month’s COZY box is the mug designed + hand crafted just for the Favorite Things Boxes by local potter artist Wendy with Barnware Pottery in West Des Moines, Iowa. Nothing will warm your heart more than the surprise at the bottom of mug when you finish your cozy drink! HEART!

Wendy specially designed these mugs for This New Old House and they are exclusive to the Favorite Things Box. I wanted a neutral mug and I love the chevron pattern and large handle design to really cuddle up with your mug!

#2 - A little sweater weather for our mugs, local Iowa maker Jennifer with Lilac Valley Creations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa hand knit mug cozy’s to help keep your drink warm and add the perfect amount of soft texture...for the cutest mug ever!

I actually met Jennifer when Mallary and I visited one of our favorite annual events, the Vintage + Made Fair this Fall. Jennifer specially designed the mug cozy’s to fit the Barnware Pottery mugs and in the caramel color that I am currently obsessed with in the neutral family!

#3 - And, how about a little something to go in your new mug with these delightful coffee flavors from Door County Coffee & Tea Co. in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Toffee Pretzel and Bourbon Vanilla Cream coffee to sip on...YES, please!

My cousin, Cary, who lives in Wisconsin introduced me to this company and coffee and I love their selection of flavors…so many good ones for every season and reason!!!

# 4 - To top off this month’s box, shower sinus steamers hand crafted by local maker Cathy with Ada Acres in Linden, Iowa in lemon + rosemary menthol & eucalyptus + menthol scents to help you relax or steam away cold, allergy or flu relief!

Enjoy all the cozy vibes from this month’s box and hang on for a lot of fun in 2024 with the box adventures…I have a lot of good items and makers specially curated to celebrate and surprise YOU!
